The Field Optics Research Ultra Low Profile Pan Head (ULP) is a lightweight aluminum pan head that utilizes a 60mm Arca Swiss mounting plate and a carbon fiber panning handle. Including the handle, it only weighs 10.7 ounces. The head's platform is supported by two upright hinges that eliminate any roll. The ULP also has both lock and pitch tension control knobs to enable greater holding strength and smoother operation. The pitch range is ±65°. The head mounts to any tripod with a 3/8-16 mounting screw.
